The Central Travel Office continues its efforts to educate and inform UC travelers on the benefits of booking within the system-wide program.

UPCOMING SESSIONS:

The Supplier Spotlight Series is coming soon! Registration links and descriptions for the dates below will be provided once confirmed.

Sessions will start at 11AM (click on the webinar title to register for the session):

October 23: Marriott will share news about their evolving brands and how the award-winning Marriott Bonvoy program can enrich your life by connecting you to people, places and passions you love. Attendees will be entered to win ONE Marriott soft bound notebook (FOUR winners). Must attend full session and be present to win.

November 6: Enterprise/National will share best practices for business and personal travel. Topics will include items such as what is included in business rental rates, how to book reservations, and explore available resources for any rental issues. We will also discuss our achievement in sustainability that led to the recent “BTN Travel Sustainability Award.” Attendees will be entered to win a $25.00 Amazon gift cards (TWO winners). Must attend full session and be present to win.

November 13: American Airlines will share how the traveler experience is enhanced when the ticket is booked within UC contract with benefits such as potential upgrades, complimentary preferred seating, priority privileges, disruption recovery and so on. Attendees will be entered to win a 25K American Airlines Advantage miles certificate (ONE winner). Must attend full session and be present to win.

November 20: Lufthansa Airlines: Cancelled due to scheduling conflict

December 4: CQ (Club Quarters): will discuss what makes them unique and what travelers can expect at their locations, plus share how to take advantage of UC-specific rates for not only business travel, but personal travel as well (specifically over weekends/holidays).

December 11: Uber will share information on Uber Green, differences and cost benefit considerations between UberX, UberXL, and Comfort. They will also discuss ongoing efforts in Uber Transit and how campuses could benefit from the program.

December 18: Southwest Airlines
